Selecting the groups of business that you want to get your message across to has never been easier.
The UK Standard Industrial Codes (UKSIC) used to describe the different business activities is difficult to work with when used for email or fax marketing. Its main use is to gather and analyse data on the various business classifications rather than provide a framework of industries with similar requirements and needs. Also, it is divided into several thousand categories making it unwieldy to work with.
To simplify matters and make the business groupings easier to understand, we have divided the UKSIC into its eleven main business types. These are - manufacturing, construction, motor trade, wholesale & retail, hospitality, transport, finance & property, computing & telecoms, business & professional services, public, education & health.
These eleven main groups are then sub-divided allowing you to target your message more precisely. e.g. manufacturing - food & drink, construction - plumbing & air conditioning, etc.
